One of the biggest events in the mobile industry kicks off in two weeks, and, as usual, Syniverse is planning a big presence at Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona.
One of our big areas of focus at the show this year is an emerging technology that is finally reaching fruition and promises to revolutionize text messaging as we know it — Rich Communication Services, or RCS. This technology will transform messaging by taking its best functionality and giving it a 21st century upgrade, with features like high-resolution imagery, advanced video and audio capabilities, location information, and analytic feedback, just to name a few.
We’ve been doing a lot of work with RCS lately, and to help companies begin integrating this technology, we’ve just developed a new infographic, “Create amazing mobile experiences with RCS,” that we’ll be distributing at MWC and that I invite you to check out below. The infographic spotlights some of the most important trends and game-changing capabilities of RCS, and it’s just one of many new things on RCS that we’ll be featuring at MWC, and right here, on Synergy.
And if you’re coming to MWC, please stop by to see us at the Syniverse booth, at Stand 2G11 in Hall 2 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via. We’ll be hosting an Innovation Theater that will feature a series of seminars and product demonstrations on RCS as well as other new technologies, like 5G, the internet of things, and blockchain. I hope to see you there!
