2013 Awards

Syniverse was one of 13 companies honored with a Sustainability Award by Earth Charter US. The accolade recognizes sustainable business practices for Tampa Bay companies in the areas of people (employee and community well-being), planet (environmental health), and profit (economic viability). The Earth Charter is a global agreement that includes a declaration of 16 principles to foster growth of sustainable communities and economies; it has been endorsed by over 4,500 governmental and international organizations.

For the second year in a row, Syniverse Middle East and Africa Vice President and Managing Director Nabil Baccouche was recognized among the elite group of telecom leaders comprising the Global Telecoms Business 40 under 40. Nabil was selected due to his outstanding leadership of Syniverse’s MEA business as well as the critical role he has played in leading the industry forward through wholesale consulting projects and active industry engagement.

Syniverse and AdaptiveMobile were jointly recognized with the GSMA Global Mobile Award for Best Mobile Safeguard and Security Service. The award recognizes Messaging Trust Service, a mobile security solution that helps mobile service providers deliver high-quality end-user experiences by protecting subscribers from advanced SMS spam and fraud threats.
