Nour Al Atassi

Nour Al Atassi joined Syniverse in 2013 and leads the company’s business in the Middle East as Regional Vice President and Managing Director, Middle East and Africa. Mr. Al Atassi brings more than 10 years of leadership experience with top technology companies. Prior to joining Syniverse, for six years he served in senior sales positions for MACH, before it was acquired by Syniverse. Previous to that, he served as Business Development Manager at HumanSoft, where he headed sales for the latest technologies in training and human resources development systems. Mr. Al Atassi holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Balamand in Lebanon and an MBA from the University of Wales in the U.K. He is a frequent speaker at the GSMA Arab World Summit and other industry events in the Middle East and Africa.

– Senior Technology Manager, Next-Generation Solutions
Brian Beach

Brian leads the development of Syniverse’s IP Services Interworking Hub for RCS (Rich Communication Services) and VoLTE (Voice-over Long-Term Evolution) over IPX (Internet Protocol Packet Exchange), a technology solution that provides a range of next-generation services for a faster and more media-rich mobile experience over IPX. He joined Syniverse in 2005 as a part of the Research and Development team and at that time began working with IMS (Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem) and next-generation messaging, leading the technical aspects of the Fixed Mobile Convergence Alliance (FMCA) global presence and IMS trials. Mr. Beach also played a role in the early phases of Syniverse’s Advanced Messaging Hub and Wi-Fi Talk & Text solutions. He has been involved in RCS since 2009 and has attended a number of industry conferences and work groups to advance new RCS technologies and standards. Mr. Beach holds a Master of Science in computer science from the University of Tennessee.

– Senior Technology Director, Innovation and Solution Development
Pradeep Bhardwaj

As Senior Technology Director of Innovation and Solution Development, Pradeep Bhardwaj serves as a senior technology adviser who oversees strategic initiatives to advance leading-edge technologies and standards, such as LTE and VoLTE, for Syniverse and its customers. Mr. Bhardwaj joined Syniverse in 2005 and has built a career that encompasses more than 25 years of senior positions for leading telecommunication companies and industry associations. Prior to coming to Syniverse, he served in several solutions architect and consultant positions for companies that included Airtel, NEC, Oracle and Alcatel-Lucent. Moreover, Mr. Bhardwaj has a long record of achievement with the GSMA, for which he served as Chairman of the Hubbing Provider Interworking Group from its inception to its end. He has a bachelor’s degree in electronics and telecommunications engineering.

– Vice President, Advanced Signal and Network Interoperability, Mobile Transaction Services
Mun-Kein Chang

Mun-Kein Chang joined Syniverse in 2014 and brings more than 15 years of experience in managing the development of advanced IPX and mobile network services. As Vice President of Advanced Signal and Network Interoperability, he helps lead Syniverse’s Network line of business, which includes Syniverse’s LTE and IPX solutions. Prior to joining Syniverse, Mr. Chang led the development of IPX data network services and solutions products for 11 years as Executive Vice President of Product Management at Aicent, which Syniverse acquired in August 2014. Previously, he was Regional President of Asia Pacific for GRIC Communications and was responsible for sales, marketing, operations and technical support for all GRIC customers and partners in the region. Before GRIC, he worked at Tandem Computers, providing consultation and professional services to major banking and telecommunication companies, and also held senior roles at Zenith Data Systems’ and Hewlett-Packard’s Asia-Pacific divisions. Mr. Chang holds a Bachelor of Science in electronics and communications engineering from the University of Surrey and also has a diploma in electrical engineering from Singapore Polytechnic.

– Chief Marketing Officer
Mary Clark

Mary Clark was named Chief Marketing Officer in early 2014 and leads Syniverse’s product marketing, corporate communications, branding, digital strategy, strategic events and industry relations. Previously, she served as Senior Vice President of Next-Generation Roaming Services and Standards, and, prior to that, Senior Vice President of Roaming. In these roles, Ms. Clark spearheaded new product introductions in Syniverse’s Real-Time Intelligence and strategic consulting services, defined Syniverse’s LTE strategy from concept to product introduction, and played a strategic leadership role in Syniverse’s acquisition of MACH. Prior to joining Syniverse, in a career in mobile that has spanned more than 20 years, she held several executive-level positions at MACH, CTIA-The Wireless Association, Cibernet and Cellular One. Within the mobile industry, Ms. Clark is an Associate Director for the Competitive Carriers Association and also serves on the CMO Council North America Advisory Board. She also speaks frequently on industry topics and has presented at such conferences as Mobile World Congress, and her insights have been featured in such publications as Global Telecoms Business. Among her many accolades, Ms. Clark most recently was named to the National Diversity Council’s 2016 “Top 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology” list and Mobile Marketer’s “Mobile Women to Watch 2016” list. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications from the University of Delaware.

Tony Costa

Tony Costa joined Syniverse in 2015 and leads strategic business development for Syniverse’s range of product suites. He brings over 25 years of experience in international business and entrepreneurial development, and over the course of his career has brought to market a number of first-of-its-kind products for startups and high-growth companies in the telecom, media, and technology industries. Mr. Costa’s previous positions have included senior roles at a number of technology leaders, including Alcatel-Lucent, MobileSpring, RealNetworks, T-Mobile, Ventraq, Vodafone, and WeDo Technologies, among others. He has a bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering and a master’s degree in computer science from Stevens Institute of Technology.

Kyle Dorcas

Kyle Dorcas joined Syniverse in 2013 and serves as Vice President, Mobile Policy Management, a role that includes responsibility for Syniverse’s Policy Management business and global portfolio of roaming, real-time intelligence and policy management solutions. Prior to Syniverse, in a career spanning more than 20 years, Mr. Dorcas served in a number of leadership positions within the mobile industry. His career brings diverse experience across many sectors of the mobile ecosystem, and after beginning his career by helping to introduce new military communication products with General Dynamics, he worked on the RAN, the core network, and mobile devices during tenures at Nortel and BlackBerry. He is a graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada.

Joseph George

Joseph George was named Vice President, Risk Management, in 2016 and leads Syniverse's global strategy, sales, and product management for solutions that help service providers control their risks related to fraud and security, accurately capture revenue for all their services, and prevent revenue leaks in their business. He joined Syniverse in 2010 and brings more than 15 years of experience in the design and deployment of risk management solutions for communication service providers globally. Prior to his current position, he served as Senior Director, Revenue Assurance, at Syniverse for six years. Before joining Syniverse, he served in a number of senior sales, engineering and project management roles at companies including Xintec, Subex and CSG International. Mr. George holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Pune and speaks regularly on the topic of revenue assurance and fraud management at industry events.

Jason Gerardi

Jason Gerardi joined Syniverse in 2007 and currently leads Syniverse's regional Solutions Engineering Team. Working closely with business development, product management and sales leaders, his team helps drive new business revenue with the creation and enhancement of customer solutions. Mr. Gerardi previously served as Manager of Solutions Engineering and Solutions Engineer at Syniverse. Prior to joining Syniverse, he was an Account Executive at AT&T, where he sold global IP networks running mission-critical data applications. Prior to AT&T, he worked as a Cisco Certified Network Engineer at IBM. Mr. Gerardi holds a bachelor's degree in management information systems from the University of South Florida.

Maximilian Goldberg

Maximilian Goldberg joined Syniverse in 2016 and leads sales for Syniverse’s Risk Management solutions, which provide protection against the full range of today’s mobile fraud and assurance of revenue across the financial cycle. Prior to Syniverse, in a career spanning more than 13 years, Mr. Goldberg collaborated with and educated mobile operators around the globe on fraud strategies and mitigation methodologies, and he helped design a number of advanced solutions for fraud prevention and revenue assurance. Among his previous roles, he held senior positions at leading technology companies that included Ectel, cVidya Networks and Basset AB. Mr. Goldberg holds a bachelor’s degree in information systems engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and is currently completing a master’s degree in industrial management there.

Pete Grubb

Pete Grubb joined Syniverse in 2015 and leads the company’s global channels organization. In this role, he creates partnerships with digital agencies, data service providers, CRM and cloud marketing providers, solutions integrators, and vertical platform providers to integrate Syniverse’s technologies into partners’ products. Mr. Grubb brings over 25 years of experience in mobile applications and services development and has served in executive roles with a number of wireless and internet businesses. Prior to Syniverse, Pete served as an independent strategy consultant, providing expertise in such technology areas as mobility, big data, user identity, fraud mitigation, cybercrime and location-based services. He has also served in senior roles at such leading technology companies as Verizon Wireless, Buongiorno, H20 Wireless and Vonage. He holds a B.S. in business administration and marketing from Seton Hall University and an MBA in international business from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

George Guo

George Guo joined Syniverse in 2013 and in Asia Pacific leads the company’s Enterprise Solutions organization, the business unit that delivers highly specialized solutions for enabling brands and Internet companies to better engage mobile users. He brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in managing telecommunication and technology companies in both Asia and North America. Prior to joining Syniverse, Mr. Guo was with Neustar for 13 years, where he was a founding member and held a number of senior positions, including Corporate Vice President and General Manager of Asia Pacific, Vice President of Advanced Services, and Chief Information Officer. Earlier, he served as Chief of Technical Operations at Lockheed Martin and Manager of Software Engineering at MCI. Mr. Guo holds an MBA from Northwestern University in the U.S. He also serves as a member of the Board of Trustees at the International School of Beijing.

Fatema Hamdani

Fatema Hamdani joined Syniverse in 2009 and has more than 15 years of experience in sales, marketing, strategy and mobile solutions management. As Vice President, Mobile Engagement and Protection Strategy, in Syniverse's Enterprise Solutions organization, she enables brands to better engage mobile users through the delivery of highly specialized solutions using tools like two-way text messaging, push notification, and Passbook and Google wallet integration. Ms. Hamdani is also currently serving as Interim Vice President, Strategy and Sales, Europe, Mobile Engagement and Protection, and is responsible for leading Syniverse’s solutions for brands in Europe. Previously, she was Executive Director, Enterprise and Intelligence Mobile Solutions, and managed Syniverse’s solutions for Fortune 500 global brands, such as American Express, Macy’s and Starwood, to enhance customer engagement. Prior to joining Syniverse, Ms. Hamdani was a partner at Ishi Systems, a technology consultancy firm that she helped build, and served as Regional Sales Director at Optaros, a digital solutions company. Rob Hammond

Rob Hammond joined Syniverse in 2013 and has more than 28 years of global leadership experience in enterprise strategy, product management, sales and engineering, with a special focus in mobile and enterprise applications. In helping brands unlock the value of mobile, Hammond is one of the leaders in Syniverse’s Enterprise Solutions, the business unit that enables brands and mobile service providers to better engage mobile users. During his tenure at Syniverse, Hammond has helped lead the development of products from inception to launch for such areas as A2P messaging, campaign management and fraud prevention. Prior to Syniverse, he served in leadership roles for several of the world’s largest mobile and technology companies, including Microsoft, Sprint and Motorola. Hammond is currently a doctoral candidate at the Muma School of Business, University of South Florida, with expected graduation in 2017. He also holds a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Science in engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering.

Alastair Hanlon, Ph.D.

Alastair Hanlon oversees Syniverse’s relationship with MasterCard, working with the global payment card transaction company to deliver new, innovative mobile solutions that help enhance customer engagement and improve the payment experience. Dr. Hanlon joined Syniverse from Amdocs, where he was part of the marketing leadership team responsible for customer engagement, market intelligence and strategy. Prior to Amdocs, he held a variety for senior roles with Convergys in the areas of product management, marketing and business development. He joined Convergys through its acquisition of Geneva Technology in 2001. Dr. Hanlon holds a Ph.D. in magnetic resonance imaging (physics) from the University of Cambridge.

Agustin Hierro

Agustin Hierro joined Syniverse in 2010 and has more than 15 years of experience in sales management. As Executive Director of Global Sales for Syniverse’s Latin America operations, he oversees the company’s sales strategy and delivery in more than 20 countries. Prior to joining Syniverse, Hierro served in a number of senior sales positions for leading telecommunication and technology companies, including Global Crossing, Movicom BellSouth, AT&T and Telecom Argentina. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales Y Sociales in Argentina and a graduate degree in business management from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina.

JC Jong, Ph.D.

JC Jong leads the sales of Syniverse’s roaming solutions in the Asia Pacific region. Previously, from 2000 to 2014, he was General Manager of East Asia for Aicent, which was acquired by Syniverse in 2014. Prior to Aicent, Dr. Jong was Dean of the College of Service Industries and Management at Minghsin University of Science and Technology in Taiwan. Earlier, he spent three years working with TransAsia Airways in Taiwan, and, prior to that, spent seven years with the California Public Utilities Commission. Dr. Jong holds a Ph.D. from Northwestern University in the U.S., an aerospace MBA from Toulouse Business School in France, an engineering degree from the Technical University of Karlsruhe in Germany, and a bachelor’s degree from Tamkang University in Taiwan.

Sanjay Kasturia

Sanjay is an Engineering Graduate from IIT-Delhi and an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi University. He has over 20 years of experience in both IT and Telecom. He has worked with companies like AT&T, Lucent, Dell in his career in the areas of Sales, Business Development and Operations.

Sanjay has worked with Lucent Technologies at India & HK for many years. In his initial years with Lucent, he was instrumental in setting up the Fiber Cable Joint Venture with Finolex Cables, Pune. At HK, he was the Director for the Asia Pacific region for the Optical Fiber Solutions division for Lucent Technologies. He moved back from Hong Kong in late 2004 to start Syniverse operations in India.

He has single-handedly grown the company from a single person to currently over 200 people. At this moment, he is working as Vice President, Syniverse, and CEO of the company’s Joint Venture Syniverse Technologies India Private Limited. This JV company has the license to run the MNP services in Zone-1 (North & West India).

– Business Development Director, Enterprise Solutions
Paul Kingsbury

As Business Development Director for Syniverse’s Enterprise Solutions group, Paul is focused on building relationships with and helping shape the mobile messaging strategies of the leading travel and hospitality brands across Europe. He joined Syniverse in 2012, and over his 15-year-plus career, he has held senior positions at a number of companies in the messaging and mobile services space, including ATOS, mBlox, NEC and tyntec.

– President, Americas Region
Pablo Mlikota

Pablo Mlikota was named as President, Americas Region, in 2016 and leads the management and expansion of Syniverse’s product offerings and market share in this large and rapidly growing region. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Caribbean and Latin America, and Global Strategic Programs, and oversaw Syniverse’s operations in this region as well as Syniverse’s worldwide services delivery for several large mobile operators. Prior to these roles, Mr. Mlikota served on the product management side as Senior Vice President, Global Business Services and Solutions, helping customers reduce operational costs and enable new revenue-generating capabilities through the utilization of big data, real-time intelligence and consultative services. Before joining Syniverse, he served as Chief Operating Officer and General Manager for Newlink Group, a digital marketing firm, and, prior to that, as Senior Vice President of Sales and Services for Global Crossing Latin America. His experience also includes leadership positions in marketing, customer service and sales at Nokia and AT&T. Mr. Mlikota received a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from the University of Buenos Aires and an MBA from the University of Miami. He also maintains positions with the international academic community as Chair of International Business at San Andres University in Argentina and as Chair of International Business and Negotiation Skills at DeVry University’s Miami campus.

– Chief Network Architect
BJ Neal

BJ Neal has served as Syniverse’s Chief Network Architect since June 2010 and is the Network LOB lead on the Syniverse LTE Task Force. Prior to assuming this role, Mr. Neal was a Chief Engineer and Senior Technologist within the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC), where he worked on the Omnibus Broadband Initiative (National Broadband Plan). Mr. Neal has worked in the telecommunications industry for more than 17 years, holding Vice President, Director, Manager, Technologist and Engineering positions within a variety of firms. He has practical experience in planning, implementation and production support of next-generation network architectures, as well as in-depth knowledge of leased facilities from all types of telecommunications service providers. Mr. Neal earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the West Virginia University Institute of Technology in 1993. He is currently a member of the IEEE Communications Society.

Michael O'Brien

Michael O’Brien was appointed Senior Vice President and General Manager of Risk Management in 2016, and is responsible for leading Syniverse’s global Fraud Prevention and Revenue Assurance services, which help service providers control risks related to fraud and security, accurately capture revenue for their services, and prevent revenue leaks in their business. Prior to this role, he served as Senior Vice President of Business Development and oversaw Syniverse’s acquisitions, new customer relationships and industry relationships. Previously, Mr. O’Brien served as Vice President of Marketing and was responsible for management of all products and services globally, and, earlier, served in a number of other positions in the company, including Marketing Director for North American wireless services, Product Manager for network monitoring and loyalty products, Customer Service Manager, and Manager of Network Operations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Virginia.

Dave Ratner

Dave Ratner joined Syniverse in 2016 and leads Syniverse’s Enterprise Solutions portfolio, including business development, sales, product management, technology and development, implementation, support, and service, as President, Enterprise Solutions. Dr. Ratner brings more than 18 years of executive experience with leading mobile, software and technology companies. Prior to joining Syniverse, he served as CEO and President of Openwave Messaging, a messaging, communication and security solutions provider. Previously, Dr. Ratner was a special adviser to a number of CEOs and senior-level executives, including the CEOs at Openwave Systems and SpeechCycle, and before that he was the Chief Operating Officer and Senior Vice President at SEVEN Networks. Earlier, Dr. Ratner served as Senior Vice President at Carrier Access as well as several vice president, director, and related roles for Openwave Systems and Software.com, where he began his career. He holds bachelor’s degrees in computer science and mathematics from Cornell University, and a master’s and a doctorate in computer science from the University of California at Los Angeles.

Dimitri Repinec

Dimitri Repinec joined Syniverse in April 2012 as Solutions Engineering Director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In this role, Dimitri is responsible for leading the team that helps design Syniverse solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of customers across these regions. Dimitri has extensive experience in telecommunications, spending more than a decade in a variety of engineering and product management roles at Belgacom International Carrier Services (BICS). During this time, he successfully contributed to the development of mobile data services such as GRX, MMS and IP transit. Dimitri also has played a role in developing IP Packet eXchange (IPX) technology from the beginning via his involvement with the GSM Association. Dimitri received an engineering degree specializing in electronics and telecommunications from Artesis University College Antwerp, and he is fluent in Dutch, French and English.

Leonardo Saucedo

Leonardo Saucedo helps lead Syniverse’s Enterprise Solutions organization, a business unit that brings together the expertise of professionals from across the company to deliver dedicated, highly specialized solutions for enabling brands and OTT companies to better engage mobile users around the world. Previously, Mr. Saucedo oversaw new business opportunities and led sales teams for Syniverse’s operations in the Caribbean and Latin America. Prior to joining Syniverse in 2007, he held a number of positions at IPCOM Technologies that ranged from technical services to sales and marketing. Mr. Saucedo holds a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications and software engineering from Universidad ORT Uruguay and an MBA from Universidad de Montevideo.

– Senior Product Manager, Mobile Transaction Services
James Stewart

James Stewart joined Syniverse in 2008 and brings more than 25 years of experience in the mobile industry, with a particular specialization in fraud prevention. In addition to being Senior Product Manager at Syniverse, he serves as the Chairman of the Roaming subgroup within the GSMA’s Fraud Forum group. Before joining Syniverse, Mr. Stewart was a Client Partner at Fair Isaac, in its Telecoms division. It was during his tenure with Fair Isaac that he became directly involved in the creation of the near-real-time roaming data exchange (NRTRDE) anti-fraud recommendations as editor of FF.18, which specifies the requirements for NRTRDE. Prior to his position at Fair Isaac, Mr. Stewart worked at Neural Technologies and Cerebrus Solutions and specialized in fraud and risk management. Previously, he was with Nortel Networks, where he spent 10 years working in Nortel’s e-business group to help operators overcome revenue assurance challenges. He holds a Bachelor of Science in electronics and electrical engineering from Brunel University in the United Kingdom.

Mary Vaughan

Mary Vaughan joined Syniverse in 2011 and brings more than 20 years of experience in mobile product strategy, management and implementation. As Senior Business Development Director, she helps lead Syniverse's Global Business Services and Solutions team, which works with customers consultatively to identify business needs and create innovative solutions that help realize opportunities. Prior to Syniverse, Ms. Vaughan spent over 20 years serving within the customer care and billing functions for mobile service providers around the globe, most recently at Convergys in senior roles that included Director of Solution Architecture and Director of Product Management and Business Development. She holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

– Senior Vice President and General Manager, Mobile Transaction Services
John Wick

John Wick serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Mobile Transaction Services, and is responsible for the management and growth of Syniverse's next-generation networks, messaging, and policy and charging lines of business. He also leads the product and software development across these lines of business. Mr. Wick joined Syniverse in 1993 and was initially responsible for managing the network operations department. Over his tenure, he has held management positions in the operations, research and development, technology, business development, and product management groups. Prior to joining Syniverse, Mr. Wick was a systems integrator with Verizon and, earlier, an electronic communications and switching systems technician for the U.S. Air Force, for which he was stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany, and San Antonio, Texas. Mr. Wick earned both bachelor's and master's degrees in business from Nova Southeastern University. He also holds an associate's degree in electronic engineering technology from the Community College of the Air Force, and he is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
