Brian leads the development of Syniverse’s IP Services Interworking Hub for RCS (Rich Communication Services) and VoLTE (Voice-over Long-Term Evolution) over IPX (Internet Protocol Packet Exchange), a technology solution that provides a range of next-generation services for a faster and more media-rich mobile experience over IPX. He joined Syniverse in 2005 as a part of the Research and Development team and at that time began working with IMS (Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem) and next-generation messaging, leading the technical aspects of the Fixed Mobile Convergence Alliance (FMCA) global presence and IMS trials. Mr. Beach also played a role in the early phases of Syniverse’s Advanced Messaging Hub and Wi-Fi Talk & Text solutions. He has been involved in RCS since 2009 and has attended a number of industry conferences and work groups to advance new RCS technologies and standards. As Senior Strategy Director and Head of Industry Standards at Syniverse, Pradeep Bhardwaj serves as a senior technology adviser overseeing strategic initiatives to advance the adoption of leading-edge technologies and standards, such as 5G, the internet of things, mobile edge computing, LTE, and VoLTE. Mr. Bhardwaj joined Syniverse in 2005 and has built a career that encompasses more than 26 years of experience with mobile operators and telecommunication companies in the areas of GSM, fixed-line, international, wholesale, international roaming, messaging, signaling, satellite, data, and IP communications. Mr. Bhardwaj’s emphasis is on technology strategy, industry standards, systems engineering, and architecture. As Senior Vice President and Chief Security and Risk Officer, Phil Celestini leads security and risk management across Syniverse, including adopting new technologies and building industry awareness of critical threats and opportunities arising from such areas as the internet of things, 5G, artificial intelligence, and blockchain. With a career spanning more than 35 years across government, law enforcement, and the military, Mr. Celestini brings extensive executive leadership experience in security, risk, and compliance. From 1992 to 2018, he served as a Special Agent in the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), where he was most recently Special Agent in Charge in Washington, D.C., and where he also served as the FBI’s senior representative to the National Security Agency and U.S. Cyber Command among other roles. In addition to his investigative acumen, Mr. Celestini is an acknowledged expert in cyber and information security. He earned several commendations and community honors as FBI Special Agent, serving in positions of increasing leadership responsibility in numerous field offices, FBI headquarters, and on the National Security and Homeland Security Councils at the White House. Prior to his FBI career, he served as an intelligence operations officer in the U.S. Air Force. He received his bachelor’s degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy and a master’s degree in public safety leadership from Capella University.

Mun-Kein Chang joined Syniverse in 2014 and brings more than 15 years of experience in managing the development of advanced IPX and mobile network services. As Vice President of Advanced Signal and Network Interoperability, he helps lead Syniverse’s Network line of business, which includes Syniverse’s LTE and IPX solutions. Prior to joining Syniverse, Mr. Chang led the development of IPX data network services and solutions products for 11 years as Executive Vice President of Product Management at Aicent, which Syniverse acquired in August 2014. Previously, he was Regional President of Asia Pacific for GRIC Communications and was responsible for sales, marketing, operations and technical support for all GRIC customers and partners in the region. Before GRIC, he worked at Tandem Computers, providing consultation and professional services to major banking and telecommunication companies, and also held senior roles at Zenith Data Systems’ and Hewlett-Packard’s Asia-Pacific divisions. Mr. Chang holds a Bachelor of Science in electronics and communications engineering from the University of Surrey and also has a diploma in electrical engineering from Singapore Polytechnic.

Jason Gerardi joined Syniverse in 2007 and currently leads Syniverse's regional Solutions Engineering Team. Working closely with business development, product management and sales leaders, his team helps drive new business revenue with the creation and enhancement of customer solutions. Mr. Gerardi previously served as Manager of Solutions Engineering and Solutions Engineer at Syniverse. Prior to joining Syniverse, he was an Account Executive at AT&T, where he sold global IP networks running mission-critical data applications. Prior to AT&T, he worked as a Cisco Certified Network Engineer at IBM. Mr. Gerardi holds a bachelor's degree in management information systems from the University of South Florida.

Maximilian Goldberg joined Syniverse in 2016 and leads sales for Syniverse’s Risk Management solutions, which provide protection against the full range of today’s mobile fraud and assurance of revenue across the financial cycle. Prior to Syniverse, in a career spanning more than 13 years, Mr. Goldberg collaborated with and educated mobile operators around the globe on fraud strategies and mitigation methodologies, and he helped design a number of advanced solutions for fraud prevention and revenue assurance. Among his previous roles, he held senior positions at leading technology companies that included Ectel, cVidya Networks and Basset AB. Mr. Goldberg holds a bachelor’s degree in information systems engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev and is currently completing a master’s degree in industrial management there.

Agustin Hierro joined Syniverse in 2010 and has more than 15 years of experience in sales management. As Executive Director of Global Sales for Syniverse’s Latin America operations, he oversees the company’s sales strategy and delivery in more than 20 countries. Prior to joining Syniverse, Hierro served in a number of senior sales positions for leading telecommunication and technology companies, including Global Crossing, Movicom BellSouth, AT&T and Telecom Argentina. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Universidad de Ciencias Empresariales Y Sociales in Argentina and a graduate degree in business management from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina.

As Chief Marketing Officer, Bill Hurley oversees the management of Syniverse’s portfolio of products and solutions, and leads the planning, development, and execution of Syniverse’s marketing, communications, and brand strategy. Mr. Hurley brings more than 20 years of experience in leadership roles at companies across the cloud, mobile, security, network and IT sectors. Most recently, he served as Chief Marketing Officer of CenturyLink, where he helped drive the transformation of CenturyLink to an enterprise IT-services company that focuses on customer experience. Prior to that, Mr. Hurley was Chief Marketing Officer at Unify and helped grow the company’s integrated communication solutions and pivot to cloud, channel, and IT services. Previously, he served as CTO at technology distributor Westcon and CIO at insurance broker Marsh. Mr. Hurley holds an MBA in finance from Fordham University and a B.S. in computer science from the State University of New York at Albany.

In addition, he has served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Global Sales at CenturyLink, and Executive Vice President and General Manager of Global Operations at Unify. Previously, he worked in several general manager roles for IBM Global Services over a tenure that included almost 15 years. Earlier, Mr. Korey led his own consulting firm after serving in a number of general manager roles over an almost 20-year period at Motorola and AT&T. As Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer, Gene Melendez is responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy, and program to ensure that Syniverse’s information assets and technologies are adequately protected. His career includes more than 20 years of leadership roles in security, business relationship management and technology. Prior to joining Syniverse, Mr. Melendez served in a variety of senior information security roles at PwC for over 17 years, including as Director of Global Information Security, in which he led a global security organization supporting 158 member firms across 170 countries. He is a graduate of DeVry Technical Institute, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), a Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA) and a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

Pablo Mlikota was named as President, Americas Region, in 2016 and leads the management and expansion of Syniverse’s product offerings and market share in this large and rapidly growing region. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Caribbean and Latin America, and Global Strategic Programs, and oversaw Syniverse’s operations in this region as well as Syniverse’s worldwide services delivery for several large mobile operators. Prior to these roles, Mr. Mlikota served on the product management side as Senior Vice President, Global Business Services and Solutions, helping customers reduce operational costs and enable new revenue-generating capabilities through the utilization of big data, real-time intelligence and consultative services. Before joining Syniverse, he served as Chief Operating Officer and General Manager for Newlink Group, a digital marketing firm, and, prior to that, as Senior Vice President of Sales and Services for Global Crossing Latin America. His experience also includes leadership positions in marketing, customer service and sales at Nokia and AT&T. Mr. Mlikota received a bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering from the University of Buenos Aires and an MBA from the University of Miami. BJ Neal has served as Syniverse’s Chief Network Architect since June 2010 and is the Network LOB lead on the Syniverse LTE Task Force. Prior to assuming this role, Mr. Neal was a Chief Engineer and Senior Technologist within the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC), where he worked on the Omnibus Broadband Initiative (National Broadband Plan). Mr. Neal has worked in the telecommunications industry for more than 17 years, holding Vice President, Director, Manager, Technologist and Engineering positions within a variety of firms. He has practical experience in planning, implementation and production support of next-generation network architectures, as well as in-depth knowledge of leased facilities from all types of telecommunications service providers. Mr. Neal earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the West Virginia University Institute of Technology in 1993. He is currently a member of the IEEE Communications Society.

As Group Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy, Michael O’Brien is responsible for driving Syniverse’s global strategic planning, developing new avenues for revenue growth, ensuring synergy across different business organizations, and identifying and managing partnerships. Previously, Mr. O’Brien served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Risk Management and led Syniverse’s global fraud prevention and revenue assurance services, helping service providers control risks related to fraud and security, accurately capture revenues, and prevent revenue leaks. Prior to that, he served as Senior Vice President of Business Development and oversaw Syniverse’s acquisitions, new customer relationships and industry relationships. Earlier, Mr. O’Brien was Vice President of Marketing and responsible for management of all products and services globally, and, before that, served in a number of other senior-level positions in the company, including Marketing Director for North American Wireless Services, Product Manager for Network Monitoring and Loyalty Products, Customer Service Manager, and Manager of Network Operations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Virginia.

Dimitri Repinec joined Syniverse in April 2012 as Solutions Engineering Director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In this role, Dimitri is responsible for leading the team that helps design Syniverse solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of customers across these regions. Dimitri has extensive experience in telecommunications, spending more than a decade in a variety of engineering and product management roles at Belgacom International Carrier Services (BICS). During this time, he successfully contributed to the development of mobile data services such as GRX, MMS and IP transit. Dimitri also has played a role in developing IP Packet eXchange (IPX) technology from the beginning via his involvement with the GSM Association. Dimitri received an engineering degree specializing in electronics and telecommunications from Artesis University College Antwerp, and he is fluent in Dutch, French and English.

Leonardo Saucedo helps lead Syniverse’s Enterprise Solutions organization, a business unit that brings together the expertise of professionals from across the company to deliver dedicated, highly specialized solutions for enabling brands and OTT companies to better engage mobile users around the world. Previously, Mr. Saucedo oversaw new business opportunities and led sales teams for Syniverse’s operations in the Caribbean and Latin America. Prior to joining Syniverse in 2007, he held a number of positions at IPCOM Technologies that ranged from technical services to sales and marketing. Mr. Saucedo holds a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications and software engineering from Universidad ORT Uruguay and an MBA from Universidad de Montevideo.

James Stewart joined Syniverse in 2008 and brings more than 25 years of experience in the mobile industry, with a particular specialization in fraud prevention. In addition to being Senior Product Manager at Syniverse, he serves as the Chairman of the Roaming subgroup within the GSMA’s Fraud Forum group. Before joining Syniverse, Mr. Stewart was a Client Partner at Fair Isaac, in its Telecoms division. It was during his tenure with Fair Isaac that he became directly involved in the creation of the near-real-time roaming data exchange (NRTRDE) anti-fraud recommendations as editor of FF.18, which specifies the requirements for NRTRDE. Prior to his position at Fair Isaac, Mr. Stewart worked at Neural Technologies and Cerebrus Solutions and specialized in fraud and risk management. Previously, he was with Nortel Networks, where he spent 10 years working in Nortel’s e-business group to help operators overcome revenue assurance challenges. He holds a Bachelor of Science in electronics and electrical engineering from Brunel University in the United Kingdom.

John Wick serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Service Provider Group, and is responsible for the management and growth of Syniverse's next-generation networking solutions. He also leads product development across this line of business, which includes Syniverse’s Connected LTE, IPX, IMS, SS7 and Turnkey product lines. Mr. Wick joined Syniverse in 1993 and was initially responsible for managing the network operations department. Over his tenure, he has held management positions in the operations, research and development, technology, business development, and product management groups. Prior to joining Syniverse, Mr. Wick was a systems integrator with Verizon and, earlier, an electronic communications and switching systems technician for the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Wick earned both bachelor's and master's degrees in business from Nova Southeastern University. He also holds an associate's degree in electronic engineering technology from the Community College of the Air Force, and he is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
