Syniverse Wins Awards During Super Mobility Week
TAMPA, Fla. – Sept. 11, 2014 – This week, Syniverse was honored by CTIA-The Wireless Association (CTIA) and the Competitive Carriers Association (CCA) for outstanding contributions and innovations in the wireless industry. Receiving these awards during Super Mobility Week, Syniverse has continued a steady stream of industry recognition in 2014.
More than 50 industry experts, analysts and media judged nearly 300 entries during North America's largest forum for mobile innovation to determine CTIA honorees. Syniverse’s International Fraud Intervention Solution was recognized as an E-Tech award winner for “Location and Proximity Services.” Powered by the Syniverse Mobile Intelligence Portal, the solution is a partnership between MasterCard and Syniverse that gives financial institutions the ability to compare credit card transaction locations with their cardholders' mobile device location to reduce false positives, assure payments and improve customer satisfaction.
Syniverse was also selected as this year’s CCA Associate Member Annual Achievement Award winner during the annual CCA convention. The selection was based on Syniverse’s involvement with local and national charities and encouragement of employees to stay involved through community service, material contributions or monetary donations.
