Syniverse Spotlights Value of Mobile Context at Mobile Asia Expo
SHANGHAI, China – June 9, 2014 – Syniverse today announced that its integrated efforts at Mobile Asia Expo 2014 will unveil how the mobile experience of the future will be defined by mobile context – the insight into consumer-use patterns that is available to mobile service providers and enterprises for the purpose of optimizing the user experience. In four sessions at the conference, Syniverse will detail the opportunity and value for mobile context services specifically in the Asia Pacific market.
On June 11, from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Director General Suite at the Kerry Hotel in Shanghai, Syniverse Chief Marketing Officer Mary Clark will participate in the “GSMA Connected Women Roundtable Discussion.” The session will explore how to accelerate the power of the mobile female economy in the Asia Pacific region, addressing such issues as the gender gap in developing countries and attracting and retaining female talent.
Clark will also participate in a panel session titled “Mobile Retail: Location Innovation, Global Opportunity,” on June 12, from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Auditorium 2. Panel members will discuss how mobile context can be used to enable retailers in Asia Pacific and other regions to deliver more microtargeted communications and better engage with mobile consumers.
On June 12, at 3:30 p.m. in the Grand Shanghai Ballroom 2 at the Kerry Hotel, Level 3, Clark will deliver a keynote presentation, "The Role of Technology in Enabling Better Customer Experience and Service Interoperability." The keynote will cover in depth how the use of mobile context promises to revolutionize the granularity with which brands and mobile service providers can tailor their customer interactions based on their preferences and context characteristics.
The fourth Syniverse engagement is on Friday, June 13, at 11:20 a.m. in the Grand Shanghai Ballroom 1 at the Kerry Hotel, Level 3, and will include George Guo, Corporate Vice President and Managing Director of Asia Pacific, Enterprise and Intelligence Solutions, Syniverse. Guo will participate in a session titled "International Travelers and Chinese Communities Market and its Opportunities" and discuss the opportunity for mobile context as it relates to travel services in China.
