TAMPA, Fla., June 17, 2019 – Syniverse, the world’s most connected company, announced today it has appointed Simeon Irvine as chief transformation officer, effective immediately. Irvine brings a broad level of expertise that will lead and improve Syniverse’s global cross-functional processes. He will report to Syniverse CEO and president Dean Douglas.
As chief transformation officer, Irvine will be responsible for improving Syniverse’s cross-functional processes across the company’s business globally, including the growth of its enterprise business and expansion in key geographic markets. Irvine has more than 30 years of leadership experience in transformation and general management with major global brands in the telecommunications and technology sectors.
Before joining Syniverse, Irvine held leadership roles at Atos where he led business units through transformational change, significantly enhancing their operational and financial metrics. Irvine has also held senior executive positions with Unify, Cable & Wireless Communications, T-Mobile and Rolls-Royce.
Irvine earned a Bachelor of Science in molecular biology and biochemistry from Durham University. He is based in Birmingham, U.K.
