2016 Best VoLTE/LTE Broadcast Product

Syniverse was shortlisted for ‘Best VoLTE/LTE Broadcast Product’ at the LTE & 5G Awards for its collaboration with LG Uplus to launch the world’s first VoLTE roaming service. The award ceremony took place at the 5G World Summit in London and recognized the most innovative products and services in the mobile industry that advance LTE deployment.

2016 Radiance Awards

2016 Mary Clark Named Light Reading Finalist

Light Reading has recognized Mary Clark, Syniverse Chief Marketing Officer, as a finalist of its 2016 “Hedy Lamarr Female Tech Pioneer of the Year” award for her role in helping brands and service providers augment consumers’ mobile experiences through personalization. 2016 Loyalty and Engagement Awards: Mobile E&L Scheme

Syniverse was shortlisted for the Loyalty and Engagement Awards: Mobile E&L Scheme for enabling customers of Western Union to easily interact with the financial institution right from their mobile device. By leveraging Syniverse’s Mobile Engagement solution, Western Union was able to boost participation in its loyalty rewards program by allowing its banking customers to use text messaging to receive balance notifications and to redeem loyalty points.

2015 GTB Power 100

In the past year, Syniverse CEO Steve Gray has been appointed to the Global Telecoms Business (GTB) Power100 list, which includes the most powerful, influential people in the telecommunications industry. 2015 Telecoms World Middle East Awards

Syniverse was named as a Telecoms World Middle East Awards finalist in the Best Network Infrastructure category for its IPX innovation that provides advanced connectivity for operators in the region including, VIVA Bahrain, Ooredoo Qatar and Saudi Telecom Company. These operators are able to gain access to Syniverse’s portfolio of LTE-supported solutions and global operator customer base through a single connection to the IPX network. The network provides entire solution sets to meet individual mobile network operator needs, including 3G and LTE roaming, real-time intelligence, messaging, and fraud protection.

2015 CTIAs MobITS Awards Mobile Solutions Provider of the Year’

With one in four travelers booking trips via smartphones, Syniverse launched its Enterprise Mobile Messaging Service to enable companies to better serve their customers and employees via mobile devices. The solution was recognized as a finalist for the CTIA’s 2015 MobITS awards under the category of ‘Mobile Solutions Provider of the Year’ for its ability to enable Concur, the leading provider of spend management, to increase reliability for mobile message delivery to business travelers anytime, anywhere and on any device. With the solution, Concur is able to provide companies with an automated, enterprise-wide solution to send messages in real-time to travelers.

2015 Global Telecom Business Innovations Award

For the eighth consecutive year, Syniverse was honored by Global Telecoms Business (GTB) for its innovative projects in the telecommunication industry. This year Syniverse was recognized for launching the first domestic LTE roaming service in the U.S., in collaboration with GCI, Alaska's largest telecom company, and a Tier 1 operator. In delivering these services for the two operators, Syniverse helped improve roaming experiences and significantly increased subscriber usage in the months after launching LTE roaming.

NimbusNinety’s Ignite Awards recognizes Syniverse as the winner of the Mobile Innovation Award in honor of its collaboration with MasterCard to mitigate fraud by leveraging the geolocation of a cardholder’s mobile device. The awards celebrate disruptive innovation in a customer-first world.

2014 SESAMES Awards

Powered by the Mobile Intelligence Portal, Syniverse’s fraud prevention solution won two of this year’s SESAMES Awards for Trusted Internet/Authentication and Retail/Loyalty. This opt-in solution is a collaboration with MasterCard to leverage the geolocation of a cardholder’s mobile device to authorize payment transactions.

2014 Wireless Broadband Alliance Award

Syniverse and Samsung’s collaboration to create a first-of-its kind Wi-Fi roaming solution in Indonesia has been recognized by the Wireless Broadband Alliance as the Best Next Generation Wi-Fi Application. The collaboration led to the co-development of S Air, which is the industry’s first OEM preinstalled Wi-Fi application, which enhances the experience of owning a Samsung device by making Wi-Fi easy to find, connect to and use.

2014 Location and Proximity Services Award

Syniverse was recognized as an E-Tech award winner for “Location and Proximity Services” for its partnership between MasterCard that gives financial institutions the ability to compare credit card transaction locations with their cardholders' mobile device location to reduce false positives, assure payments and improve customer satisfaction.

2014 CCA Associate Member Annual Achievement Award

Syniverse was selected as this year’s CCA Associate Member Annual Achievement Award winner for its involvement with local and national charities and encouragement of employees to stay involved through community service, material contributions or monetary donations.

2014 The Tampa Bay Times Top Workplaces

Syniverse was recently honored by The Tampa Bay Times Top Workplaces, recognizing the top 100 best places to work in the Tampa Bay area. Syniverse received a No. 19 ranking in the Large Business category, which includes those companies with more than 500 employees in the region. Rankings were based solely on employee opinions, which were collected through a survey conducted by a third party.

2014 GSM Association Recognition Award

In 2014, Syniverse’s Senior Industry Relations Director Christer Gullstrand received a recognition award from the GSM Association for his contributions as a delegate to the Billing Accounting and Roaming Group (BARG), providing operators immense insight into Roaming Agreement Exchange (RAEX) Inter Operator Tariff (IOT).

Syniverse was selected as a finalist in the Best Solution Vendor category of the 2nd Annual International MVNO Industry Awards. Designed to champion success and celebrate excellence in the MVNO industry, the award will be presented at MVNOs World Congress on April 9.

2014 Data Clearing Provider of the Year

Syniverse’s Data Clearing House product garnered the top honor of Data Clearing Provider of the Year in ROCCO Roaming Surveys, an annual survey that allows mobile operators to provide their candid opinions of DCH and FCH providers.
