Syniverse Expands North American Customer Base


New customers include mobile operators, cable operators, and VoIP, Internet and application providers

TAMPA, Fla. – Global mobile services provider Syniverse Technologies (NYSE: SVR) announced today it has signed 45 new customers in North America since January 2008. Expanding on its long history of success in the region, Syniverse has added to its customer roster mobile operators as well as new entrants into the mobile space, including cable operators, and Internet, VoIP and applications service providers. These new customers have selected Syniverse as a trusted supplier of messaging, roaming, clearing and fraud prevention solutions.

One of Syniverse’s newest customers is TelCentris, a unified communications and telecommunications provider that specializes in developing advanced solutions that serve the needs of its business, carrier, enterprise and consumer clients. TelCentris will implement Syniverse’s SMS Interworking Gateway for IP (SMS-IP) solution as part of a VoIP application that will enable its customers to send and receive text messages from their personal computers.
