Tony Holcombe is president and chief executive officer of Syniverse Technologies. He joined Syniverse’s Board of Directors in March 2003 and was appointed CEO in January 2006. Before joining Syniverse, Mr. Holcombe served as president of Emdeon Corp., formerly WebMD, and as president of Emdeon Business Services. Mr. Holcombe has more than 20 years of executive-level experience in the transaction processing and technology services industry. He was chief executive officer of Valutec Card Solutions and served in various executive positions at Ceridian Corporation, including executive vice president of Ceridian Corporation, president of Ceridian Employer Employee Services and president of Comdata. Mr. Holcombe serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for CTIA-The Wireless Association. He also is vice chair of the Board of Directors for The Wireless Foundation. Mr. Holcombe received his bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University.
