Laura E. Binion joined Syniverse as general counsel and senior vice president in June 2008. She brings more than 25 years of experience in corporate legal affairs to Syniverse. Most recently, she served as executive vice president and general counsel for CheckFree Corporation, a leading provider of financial electronic commerce services and products that was acquired in December 2007 by Fiserv Inc. Ms. Binion also held key roles with Verizon Wireless, GTE Wireless and Contel Cellular. She earned her law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law and her bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Georgia.
